Competency aims

The aim is to provide an understanding of the rehabilitation system in Finland so that the student can explain the system and the principles.The course aims also to provide the student with an understanding of the clients psychosocial resourses.

Learning outcomes
Student is expected to:
- know the basics about how rehabilitation is built up in Finland
- be able to describe how rehabilitationprocess, assistive deviceprocess and home-enviroment changes are organized for different ages and problems in Finland
- demonstrate understanding of psychological development
- demonstrate understanding of facts that influence on client-therapist relationship
