The student is expected to have an understanding of the principles and methods of occupational therapy for persons with physical impairments caused by neurological diseases. He/she is able to use the knowledge in the rehabilitation of the individual. The student has knowledge of different neuropsychological and developmental theories and can use this knowledge in occupational therapy. The student can assess occupational performance with methods used in occupational therapy. He/she is able to plan intervention for the individual in all important areas of human occupation. The student has the ability to work in a team and to work together with relatives regarding the rehabilitation of the individual.

Neurology. Basic course in measuring and assessment. Assessment of occupational performance. Evidence-based occupational therapy and clinical reasoning.
