Competency aims

The course consists of two parts: Adapted
groups
(1
cr) and psychophysical physiotherapy (4 cr).
Competence goal of adapted groups:
Provide knowledge how to plan and lead in
practice
adapted gymnastics groups.
Give depth to be able to plan, execute and
evaluate
and assess gymnastics of adapted groups.
Competence goals of Psychophysical
physiotherapy
are:
Provide knowledge of how common problems and
conflicts affect human psycho-physical well-
being.
Provide an overview of the most common coping
strategies.
Provide insight into how mental health is
reflected
in man's basic motor skills, body image and
body
language.

Learning outcomes

Learning outcomes:
After completing the course, students will be
able in
the planning and implementation of group
gymnastics
take into account the special needs like
adapted
group in question.

After completing the course the student is able
critically evaluate and develop adapted
gymnastics.
After completing the course in psycho-
physiotherapy
students are expected to know the factors that
affect
the human psychosomatic well-being. Students
can
apply coping strategies on the basis of a
physiotherapist perspective of the client and
group
contacts.
Students can apply methods for basal body
awareness,
relaxation and stress in both the curative and
health
promotion.
