The aim of the course is that
- the student knows his own culture and the
importance of the culture for our society - the student sees and respects gender equality
and
cultural variety, and actively struggles for
equality - the student can see social participation from
different perspectives.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected
to be able to
- explain the term culture from a sociological
perspective - explain central terms within sociology and
social
psychology - describe the importance of the social
interaction
for characters and groups - raise a perspective of equality in the
profession
of a bachelor of social services to increase
the
feeling of participation - reflect about the relation between social
interaction and activity - discuss about culture of your own and the
culture
of the client, and relate them to each other
