General competencies
1) Learning Skills

Can innovatively solve the problem and develop the industry
2) Learning in health and wellbeing
-Understands and can define the concepts of health and welfare and apply the theories and methods of Health Promotion and Sport on individual, group and community levels.
-Understand the mechanisms that influence human behavior and behavior change in relation to the promotion of healthy lifestyles and coaching in sport.
3) Social and leadership skills
Can formulate goals and develop strategies to achieve them, and solve problems at different levels and areas.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to have

-knowledge of the key concepts in health sports psychology and positive psychology (get to know the concept of positive psychology and what it includes)
-understand the importance of motivation, group dynamics, mental training and self-esteem so that they can use the theories in teaching and coaching in order to promote good performance and well-being
-understand the psychological mechanisms of changing health behavior
-knowledge and understanding of health behaviors in different groups (at the individual / group level)
-know-how to apply theories to be able to support individuals when they are trying to change their behavior (concerning health or sport performance)
-understand the importance of physical activity and opportunities for mental health and wellbeing in life
