Competency aims

The aim of the course is that the student:
-gets familiar with the concepts of health and health promotion work and knows the concepts related to these. Understands the difference between different health promotion methods and learns to use tools to promote health on individual level.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to guide individuals with health tools towards well being.
The student understands the difference between different working ideas of health promotion and is aware of different HP-models.

The basics of health promotive work
Different models of health promotion activities
Health promotion on individual level
Acquaintance with the use of health promotion tools; Nutrica, PHP and exercise in coaching.
