Competency aims

The aim of the course is that student will have knowledge of different phases in developmental and traumatic crisis and knowledge of disaster psychology and professional support. Student is expected to understand application of crisis interventions in social-and health care.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to: * Identify different kind of crisis * Understand the impact and meaning of crisis * Apply knowledge on how to support people in different kind of crisis * Describe different kinds of professional support and crisis interventions
