Learning outcomes
Once you have completed the study unit you will:
Understand the principles of sustainability and sustainable
development goals, and be able to relate them to engineering
projects, and consider how engineering can provide more sustainable

Understand the principles of energy, its consumption, conventional
and renewable generation, its storage and future trends. (knowledge,

Be aware of the diversity and sustainabilities of conventional and
