The aim of the course is to give the student a
basic
knowledge of Finnish and ability to manage in
everyday situations, to practice the pronunciation
and vocabulary for example by oral tasks etc.

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to act in basic everyday situations and
to have a basic knowledge of the Finnish language;
to know some basic structures and for example to
manage verb conjugation in present tense.
At the end of the course the student is expected

- know how to introduce herself/himself
- know how to to tell about studies and basic
worktasks
- know how to use where, from where and where to -
structures in Finnish
- know how to use the have structrue
- know how to use partitive singular
- know how to conjugate verbs in presens
