Learning outcomes

On the completion of the study unit:
You understand the principles of injection moulding and other polymer processing technologies. (Knowledge)
You understand the influences of processing parameters on components (Knowledge)
You will model and analyses process parameters using simulation on computational methods (Skill)
You optimize process parameters by designing experiments (DOE) (Skill).
You will value the role of experimental designs on efficiencies of process parameters (Attitude)

- Injection moulding polymer processing parameters
- Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Working with Taguchi Orthogonal array
- Injection process parameter optimization
