Competency aims

The goal of the course is to have a versatile
perception of refrigeration technology and its
uses.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is
expected to
be able to:

- knows the basic concepts of refrigeration
technology,
standards
as well as regulatory requirements.

- understands the thermodynamic cooling technology
basic processes.

masters the general condition of refrigeration
systems
plant diagrams and main components.

- can calculate cooling requirements.

can calculate the mass and mass of the cooling
process
energy balances and illustrate the coolant
process in logp, h-diagram.

- knows and can dimension components
(compressors, condensers, evaporators,
expansion valves).
