- You will understand the principles of injection moulding processes in relation to the different unit of injection moulding machine (Knowledge).
- You will understand the principles of a two-plate mould design (Knowledge)
- You will understand the relationships between rheological behaviour of materials and process parameters used in injection moulding. (knowledge)
-You will design a two- plate mould, analyze product design via melt flow simulation tools and prototype. (Skill)
- You will make a basic injection moulding process parameter optimization. (skills)
You will consider sustainable design approaches in product and mould design procedure. (Attitude)

5 Newtonian fluids
6 Polymer rheology (Non- Newtonian flow)

The course is part of the obligatory professional studies in the old study plans (before autumn 2021). In the new study plan (2021 onwards) the course is optional and part of the development studies.
