Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student learns
how to make a complete HVAC-plan that fulfills all
the stipulations set by authorities.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to:
- Insight in The National Building Code of
Finland - Know the HVAC-planning process, i.e. be able
to define the different moments, write
documents needed, overall understanding on how
the project develops - Be able to make a plan for a large building
- Be able to co-operate with other members in
the planning team, and help them get all
information needed

Student will design and document complete HVAC
system for an existing building and these
documents will be examined by an authorized HVAC
engineer
