The aim of the course is that the student can use
analytical tools to balance the purchasing
decision.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to:
Be able to understand and be involved in planning
an efficient warehousing system.
Know tools for inventory control, lot
calculations in purchasing, ABC-analysis in Excel
and warehouse design
Understand the connection between stock
optimization and sustainable stock operations

- Inventory strategies
- Double ABC analysis as a case
- Technology used in the field of warehousing
- Building a warehousing database system

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Introduction to logistics and basic knowledge in
purchasing.Excel tables and formulas.
