Competency aims

The aim of the course is to give the students an idea of different productions cost structure and the importance of the pre-production.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to understand the cost structure of different production genres.

Six cases:
John Starck, radio & TV production
Johanna Stenback, independent TV-production
Cilla Werning, documentary film
Camilla Lindeberg, on-line media production
Tommy Mård, multi-camera production
Alf Hemming, fiction film
Every case includes a task assignment

No previous knowledge

Additional information

Obligatory presence. The task assignments shall be submitted as lecturers instructions.

To pass the course the student should pass the following examinations:
Obligatory presence at the lessons
Submitted and approved task assignments
(examinations include written examination tests, demonstrations and presentations, reports and produktions, essays, and also presence at specified occasions)

The examinations contribute to the final grade as follows:
Presence 30%
Task assignments 70%
