The aim with the course is to give a solid foundation, work with the latest trends and techniques and develop good routines that makes continued knowledge building and deepening of skills easier.

After finished course the student will have a solid foundational knowledge in web design;

1. is able to build a web site with html5 and css as well as with a standardized framework
2. is able to implement javascipt librariers, jQuery
3. has an understanding in usability, user interfaces and target groups
4. is able to work with web design e.g. as a freelancer

The communication within the course happens on Itslearning. The student is supposed to follow Itslearning and keep up to date on possible changes.

To pass the course the student is required to finish the assignments and projects and fulfill the 80% attendance requirements.

Examination 1: Finished projects 40%
Examination 2: Tasks and presentations 20%
Examination 3: Deadlines 20%
Examination 4: Presence 20%

The emphasis is on the practical work done within deadlines. Absence without notifying the teacher affects the grading even if all tasks would be finished within given timetable.
