Competency aims

The aim of the course is to give the student basic skills to work in
multicamera environments.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to:
- be familiar with basic studio engineering
- have knowledge of studio operational practice
- know about the different phases of a multicamera-production.
- know how to communicate over talkback
- know who is who in the studio and about how responsibility is
- plan and to realize smaller multicamera productions

Course contents

Introduction to studio engineering and the planning process.
Presentation of the studio team and how to communicate in the
studio. Practical rehearsal in the tv-studio.

Basic course in single camera production

Studio rehearsals will be held in UIAH/Lume tv-studio.
