Upon completion of this study unit:

You can describe in schematic and equation
basic physical phenomena of kinematics and
quantify
the states of the phenomena.

You can calculate distance, speed and
acceleration in one and two dimensions.

You can explain different kind of forces and
accelerations using Newtons Law?s of motion.

You can calculate momentum and impulse for the
system of bodies. (Skills)

You can perform calculations using mechanical
energy of the bodies. (Skills)

You can do calculations with rotating bodies.

You can describe basic concepts in oscillation
and wave motion. (Skills)

You understand the importance of Newton?s laws
for mechanics (Approach)
