Competency aims

The aim of the course is to enable students to
use their research and analytical skills in a
project within or outside Arcada. The student
will gain a deeper understanding of data
collection and media analysis processes.

Learning outcomes

The learning outcomes focus on project
management, data collection methods and research
analysis, as well as the student's reflections
on the research process. The focus is on a
deeper understanding of the media analysis
research process. The learning result is
presented through reporting.

Course contents

The course consists of a project based on a
theme identified by the examiner. The student
has to play a central role in the data
collection and analysis for the overall project.
The course is a project-based practical course
with workshops designed to support and develop
the student's professional skills.The language
of instruction is both Swedish and/or English.
