The aim of the course is that the student learns
how to dimension and choose suitable equipment for
air conditioning
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to:
1)By given criteria settle the needs for indoor
climate (in buildings, offices)
2)Know different air-conditioning systems - and
know how to plan, implement and use them
3)Know how to dimension air-conditions systems
4)Know priciples for air distribution
5)Know principles for sound, and how noise is
reduced
6)Know priciples for air current
7)Know differences between air-conditions
systems, and be able to choose the right
dimension from case to case
8)Know components for air-conditioning system
9)Know how air-conditioning and energy is
linked
10)Energy consumption compared to indoor
climate
11)Be able to control indoor conditions in many
