Learning outcomes

By the end of the course the student can: Analyze and evaluate knowledge about leadership theory related to team leadership and working in teams promoting changes Manage and develop communication in teams Evaluate and develop own leadership that is transformative and focused on the team in a certain context Be able to use some team development tools to manage change, successful co-workership and continuous development Understand the importance of a shared vision and of socialization in teams Describe different ethical dilemmas in working life and suggests reflexive solutions for promoting ethical teamwork Understand the importance and at the same times the challenges of diversity

Prerequisites and co-requisites

The student has accomplished one year of studies at a university of applied science or at a university.

Previous course names

Teams and Leadership and Change Leadership. Course will be taught as two separate modules, 5 + 5 credits. One module runs in June and the other in July. More information is coming soon.

Jossey-Bass. ) For this book Arcada students have access to this book online through Arcada library at Ebrary. 2. Bolman, L. & Deal, T. (2014). Reframing organizations. 5th edition or older. Also Swedish version available. Jossey Bass/ Wiley. There will be limited access of this book as a e- book through Ebrary at Arcada database. Additional material will be presented in itslearning.
