The aim of the course is provide FEA skills.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to static and dynamic analysis and stability studies of mechanical elements as well as termal FEA studies of static and transient problems.

Course contents

mechanical problems - static load - stability and buckling - Eigenmodes (resonance frequencies) - Transient laods, vibrations and damping thermal problems: - thermal equilibrium in element - thermal transient (heat pulse)
