Competency aims

To create the tool paths for the machining of parts using CAM software for a CNC machine.

Learning outcomes

To prepare the student to choose the right method for machine tooling as well as suitable tools on the basis of a technical drawing and with a CAM programme generate the NC-code to machine the part.
