The aim of the course is to deepen in the narrative and broaden the narrative. Students have the opportunity to choose as final production between fiction, documentary, online narrative, or a combination of these, something crossmedial. The course provides an opportunity to deepen within its orientation but also provides the opportunity to experiment between these areas.
Final production and the written examiner take place in parallel. Through final production, the student can effectively research questions that the student delivers in the written exam work. The basis for the written work will be placed under the course Examenseminsarium

After completing the course, the student is expected to be able to find the media that is suited best for the project and story in question. Being able to work towards a common goal with students from other departments and specializations and understand that today's media and cultural industry requires both a specialized knowledge and a broad knowledge of how to convey their story and message in today's distribution landscape. Understanding that quality is the one who lives the longest.

The course is a production-oriented course. Production can be a fictional short film, documentary, an online project or something crossmedial.
The course begins with an idea pitch where individual students or a group of students present their project.
The course is divided into three phases. Pre-production, production and post-production.

Du to exeptional situation created by the Coronavirus and the closing of the University, the cours has been altered the following way.

Tutorials and evaluations have been moved to the Zoom platform. Students' presence and participation in the course's supervision are followed up as before.
If the student does not have the opportunity to participate in distance education, they should inform the examiner.

To pass the course, the student must have a responsible role in the production. The individual tutoring sessions throughout the production process are also taken into account in the assessment of the course. In connection with the final production the student is writing an reflection of what's been the biggest challenge during the process, depending on their specialization.
