The aim of the course is to give the student a good foundation and introduce good routines that is easy to build upon to get deeper knowledge.

Learning outcomes

After the course the student will have the knowledge of web design foundations;
1. is able to build a web site with xhtml/html5 and css
2. has understanding of usability - user interface, structure and target group

The emphasis is on the practical work done within deadlines. Absence without notifying the teacher affects the grading even if all tasks would be finished within given timetable.
