Competency aims

In this study unit the focus lies on the following
competencies:

Work on a project foster the scientific way of
thinking and a deeper understanding of research
methodology.

The goal of the course is to individually improve
theoretical skills, and then finish a project
suitable for a chosen field of knowledge.

The students work on their writing and can produce
reports over their conducted and planned tasks.

Upon completion of this study unit:

You can expand and prove their skills within a
topic/subject. (Knowledge)

You can work independently and produce a report
of their work. (Skills)

You understand the value of their own and
others time/resources. (Approach)

Course contents

The project scope and extent, and the associated
theoretical and practical skills that are needed are
individually agreed upon for each student.
Projects are planned, conducted and reported
according to the individual study plan or in
accordance to the teachers instructions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

It is recommended to take the course on the 2nd or
the 3rd year.

Assessment requirements

The course is graded as passed/failed.
To pass the course the student should pass the
following examinations:
A written project plan,
project documentation and/or final product, and
a final report in accordance to the teachers
instructions.
