-have knowledge of building websites with website builders on a basic level.
-have basic knowledge of current alternatives of website builders and CMS.
-know different website builders and have insight in routines and best practice for using them.
-have basic understanding of challenges and restrictions concerning the website builders.

-know how to use website builders.
-use basic terminology in web design.
-know different website builders, work organized and can be analytical about the work processes with the different website builders.

You
-understand and can relate to the context regarding internet connection, screen sizes and different browsers.
-understand the role of website builders for continued creation on the web.

Web design or similar knowledge.

Additional information

The structure of the course is practical work with an emphasis on research, testing and presentations in class. The students work to form an individual opinion and preferences regarding tools and the creation of routines for future web design projects.

Assessment requirements

To pass the course the student is required to
finish the assignments & projects and fulfill the
80% attendance requirements. Absence needs to be
announced in advance via Itslearning.

Examination 1: Finished projects 40%
Examination 2: Tasks and presentations 20%
Examination 3: Deadlines 20%
Examination 4: Presence 20%

The emphasis is on the practical work done within
deadlines. Absence without notifying the teacher
affects the grading even if all tasks would be
finished within given timetable.
