Competency aims

is to provide the student with the tools to communicate successfully in an intercultural setting as well as to make the student aware of pitfalls in intercultural communication.

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to communicate successfully in an intercultural setting.

Course contents

Verbal and nonverbal communication: academic writing,summary, abstract and other documents, oral presentations.

Completed language courses in Swedish, Finnish and English (Common Studies)

Compulsory attendance at course introduction, the abstract lecture and presentation of reports.
