Competency aims

The aim of the course is give the students a basic
understanding of basic microeconomic issues and for
macroeconomic issues, in particular relating to the
role of foreign trade in creating economic welfare.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to
1) identify central parts of the circular flow of
income
2) interpret national accounts and statistics
3) describe the roles and tasks of the trade
organisations
4) derive effects of monetary police measures
5) describe central theories in foreign trade
6) calculate central foreign trade accounts
7) describe economic relations with our
neighbouring countries'
8) decribre international cooperations
9) identify the term busnessculture
