The aim of the course is to:
Learn the basics in programming and the logical flow of thought it requires
Familiarize the student with central terms and concepts of data science
Learn how to treat different kind of data
Fetching, formatting and saving data from websites

At the end of the course the student is expected to
be able to:
1. Write scripts in Python
2. Fetching data from the internet and saving it to variables
3. Treat and format different kinds of data
4. Saving data in common formats

Basics of programming
Syntax, structure and functions
Python and tools/software
Introduction to objects

None/Introduction to Web Design useful

Python specifications
Online resources and documentation
Videotutorials and learning platforms (eg. Lynda)
