Learning outcomes
The student should be able import and
manipulate data in Excel, and use functions as
IF, nested IF, VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions in
Excel. He/She should also be able to use Advanced
Graphing and Charting and Filtering and basic data
base functions. The student should also understand
the structure of different kinds of data and how
to use statistical tools in Excel.
Course contents
Introduction to several functions in Excel like
LOOKUP, IF-functions, as well as Data filtering
in Excel and knowhow in the construction of
Pivot Tables to organize data. Also using
advanced chart options will be gone through as
well as statistical
tools from Excel. A walk-
through of logical operators is done.
