Assessment requirements

In the course there is no exam. The learning objective is achieved by the student gathering and presenting the necessary knowledge in his or her work and by being present when the study fellows present their work. Therefore, attendance is very important. Absence leads to 3 minus points. Absence from the introductory occasion and the guest lecture each lead to 4 minus points. The minus points are a total of 26 points. The minus points are deducted from the total sum of the points obtained from their assignments. In the course is an individual bonus assignment that can give a maximum of 10 points. By performing this task, the student can compensate his or her minus points. However, with the bonus points, a failed individual work or a failed group assignment cannot be raised. For a passing grade, the student must submit a personal assignment and group assignment on the content of the course. Both assignments must be approved, i.e. each must be assessed with at least 25 points out of the maximum 50 points. The course´s maximum score is thus 100 points.
