Competency aims
To give the student further knowledge about the
Finnish language and to improve the student's use
of the Finnish language. The course goal is to be
on level A.2.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to act in basic everyday
situations and to have a basic knowledge of the
Finnish language; to know some basic structures
and for example to manage verb conjugation in
present tense.

The course covers the chapters 1-20 in the
course book Suomi sujuvaksi 1. The emphasis is
on own fiel vocabulary, past tense, object and
