Competency aims

The aim of the course is to mentor and support
students in his/her thesis work. Yet an other goal
is that the student writes and presents essential
elements of his own thesis.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:
- make a research plan for his/her thesis
- process the topics, the research question and
and the goals of the thesis project
- seek and evaluate relevant literature for
his/her thesis
- write accurate scientific Swedish text
- act as a discussant for other thesis works

Prerequisites and co-requisites

The student must have registered 50% of total credit
units for the degree program; that is 120 ECTS.

The course is combined with AS-4-002 Research
Methodology (2 ects) to form a 5 ects module.
