Competency aims

The objective of this course is to introduce students to ordinary differential equations and the Laplace transforms

Learning outcomes

The students are expected to
- know different types of differential equations
- be able to develop mathematical models that can be solved as differential equations
- be able to solve first order and linear second order differential equations
- be able to solve differential equations by means of Laplace transform methods

- The Laplace transform
- Difference equations

Elementary course in calculus
