Competency aims
The aim of the course is to learn the student how to analyze a physical system (process) to get enough information to design and tune a PID-based control system.
Learning outcomes
The student is expected to be able to design and implement a simple control system consisting of a sensor, controller unit and an actuator. He or she should also understand the principles of PID-control and be able to tune a control system based om a PID-controller.
