The aim of the course is to gain a broad
understanding of the air conditioning and
refrigeration technology and how it can be used.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to:
- understand air conditioning and
refrigeration terminology - understand thermodynamic fundamental
principles - knows basic components in both air
conditioning systems and refrigeration systems - calculate the need for cooling
- calculate energy processes and show this in
diagrams - understand and dimension components
(compressors, condensers).
