The aim of the course is to give students the required experience and skills required for planning, performing and reporting any significant research project.

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:

• get the opportunity to do the degree thesis for a company
• make the literature seach and write a systematic report on the existing information
• make a plan for experiments and analyse the data
• present the results in a complete and systematic manner

• CV, covering letter and interview
• literature search and review
• patents as a source of information
• project plan for own thesis

Target for presence during lectures: 75 %. Deadlines for exercises and reports will be given during the lectures.
