The aim of the course is to give those skills required for the provision of adequate care during delivery procedures.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to describe in detail the structures of the female pelvis as a base for studies in methods of delivery.

Female pelvis including the skeleton, the muscles, the ligaments, blood vessels and nerves
