During this course the student continues to
develop her/his competence in contextual clinical
care. The student continues to deepen competence
in the assessment and care of the patient in
critical condition within the context of an
intensive unit, operating theatre including
anesthesia.

Opiskelija kehittää osaamistaan kliinisessä
hoitotyössä. Opiskelija syventää osaamistaan
kriittisesti sairaan potilaan hoitotyössä, mihin
kuuluvat tehohoitotyö, leikkaussali hoitotyö ja
anestesiahoitotyö.

By the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:

- verbalize, discuss and participate during
contact days in the simulation/skill development
center. Theme: main principles, responsibility of
the professional nurse when caring for clients in
the critical care unit/operating room setting
including anesthesia. (Additional learning
objectives can be found for each module on the
learning platform)

Kurssin päätyttyä opiskelijan odotetaan osaavan:

kommunikoida ja keskustella sekä osallistua
lähiopetus päiville simulaatio keskuksessa.
Teema: hoitotyön keskeiset toiminnot, tehtävät ja
vastuu tehohoitotyössä ja leikkaussalityössä
sisältäen anestesiahoitotyön.

simulation center and a passing grade in
theoretical exam are compulsory to accomplish
this course.
