Learning outcomes

The primary objective of the Industrial Equipment course is to illustrates the basic structure and operations of some of the most important units of equipment in various industrial branches. Special attention will be given to the environmental effects of industrial equipment.

? Heating Technologies?boilers, heat exchangers (types e.g. parallel, cross-flow; applications e.g. radiators) etc
? Drying Technologies?freeze drying, solar, steam, electric
? Waste treatment Technologies
? Material and Product Transportation in Industries?motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic transport. pipes
? Linear and Rotary Units?electric motors, pneumatic & hydraulic motors
? Electric Generators
