The aim of the course is that the student has basic knowledge in research methods and is able to apply these.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to on a basic level
- show knowledge and understanding of methodological concepts in science, designs, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyze methods
- read, analyze and critically examine scientific articles, reports and essays published in Swedish, Finnish and English.
- apply current research results in studies, practical training and thesis
- show knowledge of research ethical principles
