Competency aims

The goal of the course is to provide
the
student with basic knowledge in
integrated
natural
science with focus on oscillation and
particle
systems. The student will also learn
the basics of 3D game programming in
Unity. The main goal of the
course is to learn how to apply
trigonometric
functions, simple harmonic motions and
particle
systems in programming code and
simulate them in 3D graphics.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected to have basic knowledge in
oscillations, trigonometric functions
as well
as particle systems and is able to
realize these in programming code.

Course contents

Natural science
- Review of trigonometric functions and
their
waves
- Simple harmonic motions
- Spring forces: Hookes Law
- Simple particle systems

Graphics production/game programming
- You learn how to build simple 3D
games/simulations with Unity

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Nature of code 1 and 2 or basics basic
programming
knowledge in some language. Basics of
math and physics.
