Competency aims

The aim of the course is that students deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge in one of physiotherapy areas. Students deepen their knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy and develop their ability to work based on this approach.
The goals must include elements from previous goals and descriptions of how these can be developed and deepened.
The goals must include aspects relating to student's theoretical knowledge, capacity ipraktiska situations and ethical approach.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student is expected to have clinical expertise in/to:
- Be able to use her physiotherapy knowledge in multi-professional collaboration
- Able to work independently in the tasks fysioterapeutens work in the specific professional field requires
- Be able to search and compile evidence-based information based on a specific topic within a subject area in physiotherapy

Students compile their own learning goals of enhanced field.

Course contents

Clinical studies within an eligible are of physiotherapy.

Additional information

The clinical studies involving 10-15 ECTS (depending on the amount of internship weeks, 6-9, or the weekly workhours).
The advanced professional practice is done during the fourth year , study period 2 if not otherwise agreed, or, alternatively, in the summer.

Students must make an agreement about when the training is done and the amounts of weeks with the responsible teacher in time (at least 4 weeks) before practice begins.
