Competency aims

The aim of the course is to give insights in how IT
can support a
company's different processes

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to
- reflect the problems of non-integrated "legacy"
systems, and
the benefits, drawbacks and investments related to
an integrated
ERP system
- be familiar with an ERP-system interface and
navigate in the
system
- apply an ERP-system for sales order processing,
material
requirements planning and delivery processing
- analyze and reflect modern IT for Business
processes

Enterprise Resource Planning in general
Navigation in an ERP system
Sales - Delivery chain in an ERP system
Analyze various outputs in an ERP system
Technologies like RFID, GPS, EDI.
