The aim of the course is to advocate the
importance of
healthcare associated infections as a crucial
element
of patient safety and highlight their potential
human
and economic burden.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to
be able to
- teach and supervise in hospital hygiene
- be familiar with the latest research results of
hospital hygiene and can apply them
- participate in the formulation of an
organizational
structure for controlling healthcare-associated
infection
- identify clusters of healthcare-associated
infections 8or other unusual events)
