Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the students have
knowledge about the specific caring activities in
both the intensive care unit and emergency ward.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student
- is expected to have technological skills needed
in the work in a intensive care unit and at an
emergency ward. - is able to care for the critically ill patients
and their relatives - can receive ordinations and take proper actions
- is able to teamwork
- has knowledge of technological equipment in the
ward and principals for their function. - can handle ethical situations
