Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student gets
knowledge about the freight forwarding companies
and their services, about the import and export
process, the documentation and about the
international customs procedures and different
technical solutions in the transport business.
Learning outcomes
After a completed course, students have knowledge
about freight forwarding companies and their
services, can search for information needed to
issue the right documents that a commodity needs
when being imported/exported. Students can
interpret rules that apply on international
freight forwarding and understand the information,
capital and material flow in freight forwarding.
In addition, students learn to write instructions
for freight forwarding and customs clearance.
