Be able to use some team development tools for successful co-workership and continuous development 5.Understand the importance of a shared vision and of socialization in teams 6. Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to: 1. Formulate, theoretically motivate and discuss team leadership and successful working in teams 2. Critically discuss different leadership and team theories 3. Understand and interpret the importance of shared visions and the meaning of the whole in a successful team?s performance 4. Demonstrate and discuss a variety of team leadership strategies and tools that are adaptable to different and challenging work situations 5. Can show increased leadership efficiency in teams

Observe that this course is an extensive course module consisting of three courses "Making sense of Leadership"(3x 5 ECTS). We encourage and recommend to take them all, but it is possible to take only one course (5 ECTS).

Assessment requirements

To pass the course the student should do the following examinations: -quizzes -discussion forum input -process writing in teams in cl peer review -scientific blog assignment Minimum 10 Points from discussion forums and quizzes Minimum Points to pass the course 50 Points of 100 possible. The examinations contribute to the final grade as follows: Quizzes 20 Points, Discussion forum 20 Points, Blog assignment 10 Points, Final assignment 40 points plus Peer review 10 points. Grades: 50- 59 points: 1, 60-69 points: 2, 70-79: 3, 80-89: 4, 90-100: 5.

The timetable of the course

Course activities start first week in June and end by 30.6. Material will be added weekly and the course is progressing on a weekly basis.
