Competency aims

The aim of the course is give the student basic knowledge about digital systems and computer system components

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
- know logic algebra (Boolean algebra) and binary representation of information
- carry out binary arithmetic operations
- know different binary codes and to carry out code conversions
- describe logic functions
- know combinatorial circuits, common sequential circuits, and computer system components
